Although Radio NZ has long been the best local broadcast medium for arts coverage, it’s only recently that fashion has become a more regular topic. There have been some fascinating interviews across many of RNZ’s programmes, both weekday and weekend, and they’re also increasingly adding great galleries. Fortunately, the good people at their website are tagging these and you can find several months of conversations about style with this single click (which I’ll also add to the blogroll). These range from Sonia Sly’s extensive NZ Fashion Week coverage, to Kim Hill’s interviews with Dame Pieter Stewart and Iris Apfel, to a Spectrum documentary on Glory Days and loads of other treats that you may have missed while running around, going to work, and doing all those other things that stop you listening to the radio.
Once you’ve browsed through the archive, bookmark the tag so you can check on new material as they keep adding. And share the links – the more we listen to these things, the more likely we are to get more to listen to!
