Fashioning Museums Conference

Fashion exhibitions are one of the biggest trends in museums now – no doubt much to the delight of CTANZ members. If you are keen to find out more, then the Fashioning Museums conference coming up in Canberra may be just your thing.

The aim of Fashioning Museums is to explore and discuss the tensions and opportunities arising through the increasing popularity of fashion exhibitions and fashion heritage, as well as the growing number of museums specialising in fashion around the world. The conference will examine this phenomenon from a number of theoretical and critical perspectives by bringing together prominent voices and experiences from the field.

The conference will be held 1-3 February 2016 at The Australian National University, Canberra, Australia. Early-bird bookings are open until 30 October: Read More Here
