With the symposium now only a couple of days, just a couple of reminders of some housekeeping.
Most importantly, the weather forecast. It’s good news for those who enjoy autumn, but if you’re travelling, be prepared for temperatures in the low teens. The venue is pretty central, with most other places of interest within a block or three, so while it’s warm enough inside, walking around may require some extra layers. For those driving, most nearby parking is in the outer zone ($1.50 per hour, but with 4 hour max for many parks).
We will have printed programmes available, but please bring your own name badge if you have one or are inspired to make one. We also encourage you to bring your keep cup along for your drinks – washing facilities are available at the museum.
If you’re flying out on Saturday, we’ll collect names to make it easier to share a taxi or shuttle to save time and money on the way back.
